![]() At this stage I think I still prefer Slay the Spire, but this is definitely worth a look if you enjoy deck building strategy games. There seems to be a large enough variety of cards / skills / items / settings / enemies in the game for each run to feel different, and so far I am really enjoying my time with this game. I managed to complete an (easy) run through to the end on my third attempt and I am starting to feel like I am making some permanent progress by unlocking trophies and costumes. Oh, and of course the graphics and animations in Neoverse are way prettier that those in Slay the Spire! I have been playing Neoverse for about 7 hours now. Unfortunately, Neoverse does not have a branching path map to navigate to reach the bosses, but you do get the ability to chose the difficulty of the next battle which also generates unlockable rewards. The devs have copied all the best bits and even added some extra features including a skills tree and an in-game combo system which rewards you for playing certain card sequences.
